# Web Content personalization

To create a new web content personalization, click on the "New Personalization" button and select "Web Content."

Next, you'll need to provide some required details, such as the name, ID, content position, selector where the content will be placed, and the type of page it's intended for:

**Required Details:**

* **Name:** Assign a descriptive name to easily identify your personalization.
* **ID:** Provide a unique identifier for the personalization.
* **Position:** Define the content's position concerning the entered selector:
  * *Replace:* Replace the current content of the entered selector.
  * *After:* Add the content after the entered selector.
  * *Before:* Add the web content before the entered selector.
* **Selector:** Specify the specific selector on your page where the customized content will be placed.
* **Page Type:** Select the type of page for which the personalization is designed: Product Detail, Cart, Category, Home, Products Listing, or any specific page. If you're unsure, you can also set it up for any page.&#x20;
* **Goal:** The goal for this personalization. Check out more about goals [here](/en/admin-ui/catalogs/goals.md).&#x20;

Once set up, you can start creating experiences for this personalization. Press the "New Experience" button.&#x20;

In this section, you can duplicate an existing experience, modify it, or delete it.&#x20;

The order of experiences is crucial. If a customer qualifies for more than one experience, the order configured determines priority. You can adjust the order using drag & drop functionality&#x20;
